Last week, The Donor Motivation Program® Planned Giving Consultants convened at our National Summit in Pittsburgh, PA. With a representation from all over North America, we came together to share, learn and motivate. Each year, the organization acknowledges one specific consultant who has gone above and beyond in their service to the community, engagement within the non-profit sector and passion for helping charitably minded people leave a lasting legacy.

This year, our very own Brad Willems was the recipient of The Donor Motivation Program® Planned Giving Consultant of the Year Award. Brad continually looks to provide value and impact to his local charitable community. Not to mention, he has been a mentor and coach to other planned giving consultants across Canada.

In the past three years, Brad has worked with eight different charities to help educate their donors on creating a lasting legacy and meaningful impact on the charitable causes nearest to them. In doing so, his work has been featured on Global TV and PBS as a specialist in this area of philanthropic planning. A long-standing member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners, the result of this work has led to over $4,000,000 of tax dollars that have since been redirected to causes near and dear to his audiences’ heart.
